<p>If you are hurting right now, you are probably not wondering what causes low back pain as much as what cures it. I know because I suffered with debilitating low back pain for years.</p>
<p>To answer the question &#8220;What causes low back pain?&#8221;, it depends on how far back you want to look. The truth is, whatever it is causing the pain now is not what started it.</p>
<p>All back pain is rooted in misshaped disc, which usually end up pressing against nerves. The medical profession calls the ruptured, herniated, and an assortment of other things. They are all one and the same, for practical purposes.</p>
<p>All disc get misshaped over time (because we take no preventive measures) by gravity and bad posture. Both of these forces must be countered if you want to rid yourself of the pain.</p>
<p>First, learn the correct posture. For sitting, keep your back straight and your shoulders back. For standing, tighten your abs a little, tighten your gluts (butt muscles) a bit, and pull your shoulders back.</p>
<p>To correct your posture long term, all you need to do is make a frequent, conscious effort, to put your body in the right position. In no time at all, you will be correcting your posture without even thinking about it.</p>
<p>As for what causes low back pain as you feel it now, it is the culmination of years of uncorrected abuse. There are exercises that can help, and I will show you two in just a moment.</p>
<p>Remember, you are feeling years of neglect. It will not go away overnight, and it will not go away on its own. But with the right attitude and tools it will go away.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Every day millions of people suffer what is best described as a back ache. Not the deep chronic back pain felt by many, but a slight ache or tightness in the lower back muscles.</p>
<p>Usually, these aches just go away on their own. That&#8217;s the problem. They go away so nothing is done in response to the bodies warnings.</p>
<p>Far too often the untreated condition is only the beginning of the chronic pain to come. Ignoring minor back aches is the number one cause of low back pain.</p>
<p>Listen to your body when it tells you something. A minor back ache is your body telling you in a soft voice to do something about the condition. If you don&#8217;t heed the early warnings, it will speak louder and louder until you hear it. For many, the constant screaming of intense chronic pain is all they will hear.</p>
<p>All too often the response is an attempt to translate what your body is telling you to a doctor. The signals get crossed up somewhere between your mouth and the prescription pad. The pain is treated but the underlying condition is left unaddressed.</p>
<p>Whether you have a seriously painful and chronic condition or a minor back ache, listen to what your body is saying and treat it accordingly.</p>
<p>Your body will never lie to you. If it says it has any back problem at all, you should listen no matter how small the pain is.</p>
<p>You back ache should be treated with exercises that stretch the spine in a straight line, and they must be regularly done. But that is a small price to pay to prevent the chronic back pain that will surely arrive if you do nothing.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>For many people, morning back pain is an every day thing. They start every morning with the painful burning of getting out of bed.</p>
<p>Many have been to doctors looking for help. Others have tried new mattresses and pads. Some even try to fall asleep in a certain position, forgetting that they toss and turn into many different positions anyway no matter where they may start out.</p>
<p>But what most morning back pain sufferers never do is deal with the cause of the problem. It has nothing to do with sleeping. It is no different from any other back pain you feel during the day.</p>
<p>All back pain is caused by misshaped disc in your back. Years of neglect and bad posture combined with gravity is the cause. And yes, gravity still has an effect on your spine even if you are lying down.</p>
<p>Morning back pain is a sign of problems. It is foolish to focus on stopping the pain without addressing the underlying cause. The disc that are out of shape.</p>
<p>You can, or your body can, reshape the disc on its own if you will remove gravity for several minutes each day. This is proven by astronauts that come back to earth an inch or two taller than when they left.</p>
<p>Mild inversion, about 20 degrees, will put your back in a gravity neutral position and allow the disc some time to naturally reshape themselves. At that level of inversion, the more time you can give yourself the better.</p>
<p>If you do not have access to an inversion table, a piece of plywood propped up on a cinder block is about the right angle.</p>
<p>If your pain is chronic and acute, you may want to limit your inversion time until the pain is more bearable. For total back pain relief, the right mix of gentle stretching and mild inversion will do the trick.</p>

<p>Sciatica, which is more of a set of symptoms than a definable condition, often times is felt by pain beginning in the hip and going down the leg. Sciatica cannot be treated using the same methods as common back pain in most cases.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It should be fairly obvious to most who have been to a doctor about their <a href="http://www.cureyourownbackpain.com/ebook/">back pain</a> that the medical profession has very little to offer outside of pharmaceuticals. And that does little more than manipulate or hide the symptoms while the body heals itself.</p>
<p>Relief in a pill sounds good when you are in acute pain. But for the long term it does absolutely nothing. In fact, your back is worse off after it heals than it was before the pain started. That means another more painful episode down the road.</p>
<p>The good doctors who prescribe only exercise lead you to believe that any exercise will improve your back condition. They miss the point of <a href="http://www.cureyourownbackpain.com/ebook/">back pain exercise</a> and self treatment.</p>
<p>The problem with almost every <a href="http://www.cureyourownbackpain.com/ebook/">at home back pain treatment</a> I see is that they are designed to keep a healthy back healthy. But for someone in chronic or acute pain, they advise way too much exercise to be beneficial.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Most back pain is felt as inflammation. A dull burning pain across a large area, usually at or above the waist. Sometimes the pain will begin to extend itself into the buttocks and hip area, but it is still centered at the waist.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s the kind of pain that bring tears to your eyes when you tie your shoe or put on a pair of pants. It severely cramps your lifestyle and limits what you can do.</p>
<p>But it can be beaten, and without going to a doctor or chiropractor. It takes a little self discipline and a desire to control the outcome of your future. The formula is simple enough.</p>
<p>First, do an extension exercise. Preferably it should be lying down. After that, do a flexing exercise. Standing and bending forward is ok, but stresses the back more than some exercises. Pulling yourself into a ball is less stressful and works better.</p>
<p>Immediately after the exercises, find a way to invert yourself. Not hang upside down, but inversion at a mild angle. A sheet of plywood propped up on a cinder block is a good level to start your inversion.</p>
<p>All that is left is to strengthen the muscles and you will achieve freedom from back pain forever. A simple barbell exercise like the dead lift will do that for you, but you must not do them before your pain has almost entirely gone.</p>
<p>To keep your back in top shape, in fact before it can get there, you must correct your posture. Keep your abdominal muscles flexed and supporting your spine from the front, while flexing your butt muscles to pull your hips forward and into the strongest position to support the back.</p>
<p>Most of all, you have to make a commitment to what you are doing. Find a treatment you believe in and don&#8217;t look back. Give your back what it needs to beat the inflammation and pain. Your body will do the rest on its own.</p>

<p>Inversion tables are a medical miracle, but since the treatments do not require prescription drugs or surgery, or even doctors, they are not discussed in the medical profession. I highly recommend you get one just as soon as you can.</p>
<p>Compounding that lack of support, if anyone who buys an inversion table goes from the pictures on the web site it is inevitable that they will hurt themselves. I know this from personal experience.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Golf is a lot of fun. But it can also be quite painful if you have a bad back. A wildly incorrect golf swing can also be the cause of the pain to begin with. But you are the cure.</p>
<p>I played for years with serious back pain. In one way it helped. I learned to play control golf because it hurt to much to swing hard. Now that I no longer have back pain, I still play for control and score much better because of it.</p>
<p>But playing with back pain is just not much fun. Golf tips for back pain are just telling you how to get more enjoyment out of your misery. The only way to make golf fun again is to get rid of the back pain.</p>
<p>I used to think that only doctors or chiropractors could take care of back problems. The fact is, they are the least capable of doing that. They may help with the pain symptoms, but all that does is leave your back in a situation that will continue to get worse.</p>
<p>Fortunately, and out of pure necessity, I learned that doctors and chiropractors are the last people to trust with your back pain. Or any pain at all.</p>
<p>The best golf tip for back pain you will ever get is to take responsibility for your back pain and make it go away yourself. This can easily be done through extension exercise and mild inversion.</p>
<p>Make a commitment to yourself to work on fixing your back pain. If done correctly, within a month you will be able to play golf pain free.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As a former back pain sufferer, I was told for years that there was nothing I could do to stop it. Most often, that bit of false wisdom came from others with bad back problems that could not overcome their own pain. It also came from a doctor.</p>
<p>Since then, I have learned that back pain is not a life sentence. Even better than that, it is not something that requires a doctor and thousands of dollars to deal with. If anything, seeing a doctor about your back pain will only delay the cure as the situation is made worse by pain pills and the failure to correct the issues causing the problems.</p>
<p>Even for those with chronic acute pain like I suffered for the last three of my 20 years back problems, not only is there hope. But the cure is so simple that it escapes the halls of medicine.</p>
<p>It is time for you to take control over your lower back pain and fix the problem for yourself. There is no one else who can do it for you. It doesn&#8217;t take that much effort to do it either. Just a few minutes a day.</p>
<p>Consistency is the key. You can&#8217;t do it with one session of exercises or inversion. It took years to get where you are. If you try to fix it in a day you will only cause yourself more pain.</p>
<p>Fortunately, stopping back pain only takes a couple of weeks of self administered adjustments. The adjustments are done through MILD extension and stretching, with a bit of MILD inversion thrown in to insure your adjustments are moving things in the right direction.</p>
<p>Back pain is not a life sentence. If you start today, you can be pain free in as little as a week or two. Or you can continue to sit back and wait for someone else to do it for you. In that case, you can be hurting for a long time to come.</p>
<p>Back pain presents a choice. You can live with it, trust it to a doctor, or take the appropriate steps to correct the problem yourself. You have a one in three chance of choosing the correct option, and the knowledge that the first two options listed above are wrong.</p>
